What to Expect from Your Photoshoot
Our sunset family photography summer mini sessions are designed for families, couples, and individuals of all ages. Whether you’re looking to capture candid moments or create unique family portraits, these sessions are perfect for you. Here’s what you need to know about booking a photoshoot with me:
- Dates: June 7th, 8th, & 9th. If weather disrupts any of these dates, our backup options are June 10th & 11th.
- Location: Fareham (I’ll send you the exact location once you book).
- Session Fee: £55 to secure your booking, which includes a 20-minute session and one digital image from a gallery of 10+ photos.
- Additional Images: You’re welcome to purchase more digital images if you like.
- Extras: You’ll get our “What to Wear” guide, moodboard and access to our client’s wardrobe and accessories.
During your session, we’ll take a casual stroll through a field of daisies. As the sun sets, we’ll capture spontaneous moments of laughter, joy, and togetherness. For an added touch of summer charm, consider bringing a small picnic or some playful props. Vintage toys and games can create a beautiful, timeless atmosphere.
Understanding Mini Sessions vs Full Session
If you’re new to family photography, mini sessions are a fantastic introduction. They offer a quick and easy way to update your family photos without a long commitment. These sessions are ideal if your children have limited attention spans or if you’d like to get a feel for our photography style before booking a full session.
However, if you think your children may need more time to warm up to the camera, a full session might be a better fit. Mini sessions are fast-paced, as we have multiple bookings on the same day, and we work against the setting sun. If you prefer a more relaxed pace, a full session allows more time to capture those special moments.
Regardless of your choice, I promise to work hard to create images that you’ll cherish for years to come.

I approach each photoshoot with a laid-back attitude, allowing you and your family to relax and be yourselves. As a mother of two (find out more about me here), I understand family dynamics and focus on capturing genuine interactions. Whether it’s a playful game, a warm hug, or a shared laugh, I’m there to catch those moments. I encourage parents to be in the photos to help children feel more comfortable and to ensure that you have memories with your kids. To keep the photos natural, I ask parents not to prompt children to look or smile at the camera—I’ll guide them when needed.
