The Magic of a Three-Day Wedding Celebration at Botleys Mansion

Botleys Mansion had been on my photography bucket list for ages, and when I finally got to capture a wedding there, it was everything I’d hoped for and more! Charlie and Martin’s wedding was an absolute dream. They made the most of the venue, hiring it exclusively for a long weekend and turning their celebration into an epic three-day event. And let me tell you, having everything in one place just makes life easier for everyone. As a photographer, I loved that we weren’t rushing between locations, and the couple and their guests had so much more time to relax and soak up the celebrations.

Unforgettable Moments and Exceptional Service at Botleys Mansion Weddings

The ceremony was such a standout moment. They had a family friend as their celebrant, which added so much warmth, humour, and personality. Charlie and Martin’s vows had the perfect balance of laughter and tears, and I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. Then there was the Maid of Honour’s speech—honestly, she stole the show! (Side note: I’m loving how more women are stepping up to the mic these days.) Her story about how she once interviewed at Martin’s company—and didn’t get the job—only to end up introducing him to her best friend was just the sweetest touch. Talk about fate, right?

And can we take a moment to appreciate the staff at Botleys Mansion? They were amazing—effortlessly handling every detail, making sure everyone felt welcome, and even taking care of us suppliers. It’s always such a joy to work with a team that’s as invested in the day as the couple is.
